A father who thought he was doing everything right when raising his family resorts to a radical course of treatment to rid his talented athletic son of drug addiction.

Peter Manning thought he was doing everything right. He worked hard to afford a nice home in a nice community and to send his children to good schools. When his bright and athletic son turns to drug and alcohol abuse, he is devastated. After conventional treatment programs fail and his family is torn apart, Peter embarks on a radical course of treatment. Kidnapping his son, he removes him from the environment that has caused his problems and forces him to learn to survive in the wilderness...or die.
